  1. Alan Wicker says:

Hey guys, great podcast. Just a question regarding the new Samsung Galaxy Note 5 – do you think it would be a mistake not to include a micro sd card slot as it is more commonly used as a media consumption device?

    1. Stefan Constantinescu says:

Nope. Most people stream. And if you need more storage, buy the Note with a larger built-in storage capacity. Worst case scenario is you buy a USB OTG key. Big whoop.

    2. Hey Alan, thanks for the warm words. Micro SD is indeed quite common but unfortunately for the average geek not quite as common as just using the onboard memory (as many non-geeks do).

Guess it just depends on how large the internal memory options go up to (see also: iPhone).

I wish to not be banned, but everything this week is gonna be all note 5/s6 edge active lte plus… Obviously those are going to (probably) sell in the millions… What is you’re opinion on going with something from a manufacturer that isn’t your normal HTC /samsung /apple made product?

    1. Hey Creepy Guy. Tone down some of the stuff from last week’s comments and I’m sure Stefan will ease off the banhammer for the time being.

Re your question, it’s a good one and we’ll keep it for the next show.

  3. Mark says:

Having sat on my Xperia Z3, it now looks like a very expensive last year’s flagship banana.

Should I splash my wad over another high end device, or is super-mid range where the action is?

    1. Stefan Constantinescu says:

I don’t know what your financial situation is like, nor what your smartphone usage is like, so it’s near impossible for me to answer this question.
