Episode 102

On this week’s whiskey-laced episode of The Voicemail, James and Stefan make fun of Windows Phone and the One Plus One again, talk about Sony’s potential to return to greatness, discuss what comes after the slab smartphone form factor, networks becoming dumb pipes, cooking, and Mario Kart.

As always, any and all feedback is appreciated. And if you use iTunes to listen to the program, then rate it since it helps The Voicemail move up in Apple’s rankings. When that happens, more people discover the show, and that means more chocolate chip cookies.

  1. Well, I for one enjoyed the extra swearing 🙂

Re: Stefan’s rant about the Galaxy S4 “hover view” feature, I must disagree. I found it mildly useful. In the corporate email app, I could hover over a mail and see the first few lines. Which is often enough to know if it’s something I can reply to on mobile, or if I have to break out my laptop to work on it.

My question for next week’s whisky sodden episode – how do you lock your phone? Complex PIN, pattern, face-unlock, biometric? Or do you just leave it unlocked.
